Terms and Conditions


The Brownie Box will ensure that all orders placed by 4pm Monday to Friday will be despatched 1st class Royal Mail the following working day.  Royal Mail aims to deliver the next working day including Saturdays however this is not a guarantee and we regret that we cannot offer a refund for delayed delivery, or refund expenses, loss of profits or other losses.  If orders require a specific delivery date, this can be arranged at an additional cost.  Please contact info@brownie-box.co.uk to make arrangements.  Once our brownies have been dispatched to Royal Mail we cannot be held responsible for any failure on their part to deliver on your chosen date.

Any orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays will be posted the next available working day.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all delivery address details for the recipient given are correct, the Brownie Box cannot accept any responsibility or costs for non-delivery to the intended recipient or losses in such circumstances.

On the day of delivery of your gift, Royal Mail will attempt to deliver on our behalf between 8am and 6pm. If no one is home to take delivery, they may be returned to the depot. It is the recipient’s responsibility to make contact by arranging redelivery or collection from the depot.

The Brownie Box cannot accept responsibility or costs for deliveries where the recipient has not initiated contact with the courier to rearrange delivery; this remains wholly the responsibility of the recipient. The Brownie Box strongly recommends that the sender advises the recipient to expect a delivery.

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Amendments can be made up to the point at which you click on ‘submit’ on the final page of our ordering process. It may be possible to amend a submitted order by contacting info@brownie-box.co.uk.  This is entirely at our discretion.

We do our best to ensure that all our products leave the Brownie Box in perfect condition. In the unlikely event you are unhappy with the product or service received please contact us via email at info@brownie-box.co.uk within 48hrs of receiving the item or the expected delivery date. We may ask you to return them to us in their original packaging so we can investigate the problem and rectify it or if appropriate, provide a refund.  Please note compensation will not exceed the original total paid for items. Your statutory rights are unaffected.


Returns Policy

We want you to be completely happy with your order so if any product arrives incorrect, damaged or faulty then please contact us right away (within 48 hours) and we’ll do everything we can to help.


Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Under the Sale of Goods Act, the Brownie Box are happy to replace or refund any damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied item right away.  We may require a photo of any damages so that we can claim with the courier.  On some occasions the item may need to be returned to us so that we can identify the fault.  The Brownie Box will reimburse postage costs at reasonable cost but only with prior arrangement.  Items returned without first arranging with us are done so at our own risk and cost.  Where you opt for a refund over a replacement, we will happily refund the full amount you paid for the item(s).  Additional charges paid at the time of ordering (e.g. express delivery) are not refundable.

The Brownie Box has taken every care to ensure that all products are accurately described.  Packaging may vary from that shown.  The Brownie Box reserves the right to change the decoration on each brownie with an appropriate substitute of equal appeal and quality.
